91探花 presents Destination College at Plymouth State University

March 11, 2026

Concord, NH 鈥撎Destination College, a free college-planning event for high school juniors and their families, comes to Plymouth State University on Saturday, March 28. Presented by the NH nonprofit Granite听Edvance, this year’s event will include workshops on a wide variety of topics, a college fair featuring representatives from more than 50 colleges and organizations, a laptop giveaway, and the opportunity to experience a college campus. Participants will also receive helpful resources for making their post-high school plans and meet the Granite听Edvance听team, who are here to support them throughout their journeys.听

鈥淥ur goal at Destination College is to equip students and their families with tools, guidance, and reassurance as they begin planning for the future, all in a fun, supportive environment,鈥 said Granite听Edvance听President and CEO Christiana Thornton. 鈥淲e鈥檝e learned that clear, personalized support and access to trusted advisers are important factors in breaking down barriers to college access, and this event is designed to provide those benefits.鈥

Granite听Edvance听expects to welcome more than 500 guests to its 27th听annual Destination College event. Highlights of the day will include:听

  • A choice of 10 workshops on topics ranging from building a college list to study-away experiences.听
  • A college fair featuring representatives from听more than 50听colleges and community-based organizations.听听
  • A drawing for three MacBook Air laptop computers.听All NH high school juniors who register for Destination College will be entered into a drawing for the prizes. Winners will be drawn at random during the second half of the college fair, and students must be present during the drawing to claim their prize.听See听Terms and Conditions听page for full details.

For many students and families, Destination College is a first step into college planning. Last year, Christine Murray of Londonderry showed up at the event feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of helping her daughter plan for college. The keynote address, workshops, and college fair helped clear up her confusion and boost her confidence. 鈥淚鈥檓 really, really glad we came,鈥 she said. 鈥淚鈥檓听excited now for the process, not dreading it.鈥澨
